I have been a student of the guitar for over 20 years and have taught thousands of lessons. I love learning more about the instrument every day.
My typical private guitar lessons cover a variety of topics: effective practice, open chords, barre chords, reading standard notation, TAB, and charts, ear training, inversions, rhythm, lead, scales, modes and associated music theory. You will also learn a variety of cover songs and work on individual and ensemble music projects as well as performance opportunities.Basic Computer recording is also covered in private lessons.
I specialize in Beginner to Intermediate guitar instruction. I instruct willing learners from the age of 7 to seniors at a competitive price. I have a high student retention rate as I customize each lesson based on my students individual goals and you will have a great time doing it. I love what I do and I invite you to join in on the fun!

A: The "student's individual goal" is what the student wants to do with their guitar playing.
Here are a list of goals my students have shared with me. As you can see, there is no wrong answer. Do any of these goals apply to you?
